For some of you around the world, November marks the beginning of the holiday season! It’s a great time to reflect on what we’re thankful for, such as our community. In celebration of the spirit of community, we’re excited to announce that there will be two separate Community Day events this November, one featuring Electabuzz, the Electric Pokémon, and one featuring Magmar, the Spitfire Pokémon!

November will feature two Community Days:

Electabuzz Community Day will take place on Sunday, November 15, from 11 am to 5 pm local time.

Magmar Community Day will take place on Saturday, November 21, from 11 am to 5 pm local time.

Exclusive Move - During Community Day (plus two hours after) Electabuzz evolved to Electivire will learn Flamethrower when evolved.

You cannot use non-elite TMs to learn Exclusive Moves.

Exclusive Special Research Story - For USD $0.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency), you can unlock a Community Day-exclusive Special Research story—Electric for Electabuzz!

Event-exclusive Timed Research and Field Research tasks will be available! By completing Timed Research tasks, you’ll be able to earn Sinnoh Stones and other items.

Photobomb During the event you can snap an AR Photo and get photobombed by Electabuzz.

Community Day Box A bundle containing an Elite Fast TM, 30 Ultra Balls, 3 Super Incubators, and 3 Incense for 1280 PokéCoins will be available.

Elekid in Eggs Elekid will be hatching from 2 km Eggs

Shiny

Shiny Electabuzz will be available for the first time via encounter. Previously, you could only obtain a Shiny Electabuzz by evolving a Shiny Elekid.
