Twitch Drops for 2024 Pokémon World Championships

The 2024 World Championships is set up to be the most exciting Pokémon event of the year, and watching the live stream just got even more rewarding. The Pokémon GO live stream, as well as partnered co-streams, will feature Twitch Drops—digital rewards that you can obtain on Twitch by watching the live stream for a specific amount of time. All you have to do is connect your Twitch account to your Pokémon Trainer Club account and you’ll be ready to go!
You’ll be able to watch many exciting Pokémon battles live from Honolulu all weekend long, starting Friday, August 16, and wrapping up Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Livestream Schedule
The times in bold are converted to your local time. The times under are in HST in case the converted times do not appear. The livestream times are approximate and subject to change.
Worlds - Day 1

Bracket Play will be streamed at Twitch.tv/PokemonGO. There is expected to be a rebroadcast where you can still earn drops after the scheduled time.

The finals will be streamed at Twitch.tv/Pokemon. There are no known Pokémon GO drops on the official livestream for this day.
Rebroadcasts will occur throughout the weekend outside of the above-listed live show times. If you miss the live broadcast, you can still follow these steps during a rebroadcast to get a code.
How to use Twitch Drops
- Watch 30 minutes of the live stream while logged in to Twitch.
- Visit your Twitch Drops inventory to check if it’s unlocked.
- Visit the Pokémon rewards page where you need to connect your Pokémon Trainer Club Account and Twitch account. Your PTC account does not have to be associated with your Pokémon GO account. You only need a PTC account to get the promo code, you don’t need to use a PTC account that you use for Pokémon GO.
- Receive the code and redeem on the Web Store.

Research
Twitch Drops - Day 1 (Friday)
Update: They are now rewarding the Team Building Timed Research intended for Day 2 instead of the Sableye Timed Research. The Sableye Timed Research will now be available on Saturday instead.
Tune in to the livestream for at least 30 minutes on Friday, August 16 to earn an a code for an exclusive Timed Research focused on battling basics.** See the potential teams below.
Reward encounters include Pokémon that’ll make a worthy Great League team in the Season after the World Championships! Trainers will also earn 8,500 Stardust and other rewards.
Trainers will get to choose between the following reward encounters in the first step.
Choose Pancham
Choose this option to build and train a Pokémon team for the GO Battle League’s Great League comprised of Dunsparce, Mantine, and Pancham.
Choose Galarian Weezing
Choose this option to build and train a Pokémon team for the GO Battle League’s Great League comprised of Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, and Chespin.
Choose Inkay
Choose this option to build and train a Pokémon team for the GO Battle League’s Great League comprised of Jigglypuff, Shellos, and Inkay.
You will encounter West Sea Shellos or East Sea Shellos based on your location.

Twitch Drops - Day 2 (Saturday)
Update: The Sableye Timed Research will now be available on Saturday instead.
Tune in to the livestream for at least 30 minutes on Saturday, August 17 to earn a code for unique Timed Research that will award you an encounter with Sableye!* Sableye was a pivotal part of ItsAXN’s championship-winning team in the 2023 Pokémon GO World Championships. Sableye will also know the Fast Attack Shadow Claw and the Charged Attack Foul Play.
Trainers that redeem this code will also have access to the following bonuses until August 31 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Sableye caught during this time will know the Fast Attack Shadow Claw and the Charged Attack Foul Play.
- One additional Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and above who complete three-star Shadow Raids. (Shadow Sableye may appear in these raids during the Honolulu 2024 Pokémon World Championships event!)

Co-Streaming Rewards
Tune in to any of of the official Pokémon GO co-streamers to receive the third exclusive Timed Research for this year’s 2024 Pokémon World Championships, taking place in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.**
Trainers who watch any of the official Pokémon GO co-streams between Friday, August 16, at 9:00 a.m. HST and Monday, August 19, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. HST will receive a code that they can redeem for exclusive Timed Research.
Watching a partnered Pokémon GO co-stream for 30 minutes can net you unique Timed Research that ends in an encounter with a costumed Pikachu perfect for celebrating the World Championships!
Watch any of the partnered creator channels here to earn drops for this Timed Research. The official Pokémon GO Channels don’t count for this drop.
