Shadow Mewtwo will return to Pokémon GO in Shadow Raids. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Shadow Mewtwo—if you’re lucky!

Shadow Mewtwo will appear in five-star Shadow Raids from Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 8:00 p.m local time.

Shadow Mewtwo will return to Pokémon GO in Shadow Raids.

Additional Details:

  • You will earn 3 Mewtwo Candy XL as part of the rewards for winning.
  • The IV Floor is 6/6/6.
  • The Raid CP is 57645.
  • There are multiple reports of 8 Purified Gems requires to subdue enraged Mewtwo. This is the same number required for 3-star Shadow Raids.
  • Shadow Mewtwo Eggs appear at 9 am and start at 10 am local time.

Shadow Raids can only be challenged in-person. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.
