Trainers, to make up for issues with Shiny Galarian Ponyta, we will be adding these bonuses from June 1st, 2021 at 10:00 am to June 8th, 2021, at 10:00 am local time:

  • Galarian Ponyta appearing more often in 7km Eggs and
  • Timed Research featuring Galarian Ponyta plus bonus items.

Shiny Galarian Ponyta was not available after the end of the Luminous Legends X event. This means Galarian Ponyta encountered from Research Breakthroughs and from 7 km Eggs from May 17 to 24 did not have a chance of being shiny. Furthermore, it was only in 7 km Eggs for a brief period between the end of the Luminous Legends X event and the start of the Luminous Legends Y event.

To clarify, this was NOT the time period that Galarian Ponyta was available in raid battles, Field Research tasks, or AR Mapping Tasks.
