As part of this update, you will be able to use Mega Energy to quickly increase your Pokémon’s Mega Level for all levels. The amount of Mega Energy required to level up will depend on how many times you’ve Mega Evolved that Pokémon - the more times you’ve Mega Evolved that Pokémon, the less Mega Energy it will cost.

Where can I find Super Mega Raids?
Super Mega Raids will take great teamwork and may only appear at certain Gyms.
You can visit pokemongo.com/map to see the locations where Super Mega Raids might appear during an event, in addition to those in progress. You can also filter the map to show nearby community meetups days in advance, allowing you to plan more seamlessly.
If you’ve never attended a meetup before, Super Mega Raids are a great reason to go out and meet your local community of Trainers for the first time.

Timed Research
Timed Research will be available to Trainers during the event. Complete the research tasks to earn a Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Mawile.
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before the Timed Research ends.
Shiny 
Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Falinks from Super Mega Raids.
