The Lucky Trinket returns and Latias soars into GO Pass: August!
The GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe for August will be available from August 4, 2026 at 10:00 am to September 8, 2026 at 10:00 am local time.
Features 
GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: August on Tuesday, August 4, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Tuesday, September 8, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Additionally, from Saturday, September 5, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, September 6, at 11:59 p.m. local time, there’s no daily limit for how many GO Points you can earn!
For US$7.99*, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe, a paid version of the GO Pass that offers upgraded rewards and faster progression.
For US$9.99*, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks to also automatically earn enough GO Points to reach Rank 11.
While progressing through the GO Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.
Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Thursday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!

Lucky Trinket
The Lucky Trinket will return as the final reward in this month’s GO Pass Deluxe.
A Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that can be used to turn one friend from your Friend List into a Lucky Friend. When used, the Lucky Trinket will set the status of you and your chosen friend to Lucky, even if you aren’t Best Friends yet! When you’re Lucky Friends with someone, the next time you trade with each other, both Pokémon will become Lucky Pokémon. After the trade, your Lucky Friend status will be cleared.
This exciting item will only stay in your Item Bag for a limited time, so don’t forget to use it! The Lucky Trinket earned as a part of GO Pass Deluxe: August will expire on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when you claimed it.
You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you wish to apply your Lucky Trinket to. You cannot use a Lucky Trinket with a Trainer you are currently Lucky Friends with. Using a Lucky Trinket on a friend does not change the distance at which you can complete a trade. If you do not want to allow other Trainers to use their Lucky Trinkets on you, you can disable this permission in your Settings page.
GO Pass 
Earn points to increase your rank and unlock rewards. You can earn points by completing Pass Tasks or the various accomplishments listed here. Any rewards you earn for completing a Pass Task will be awarded as soon as you finish the task.
Trainers will also have access to Weekly Tasks to earn points and increase their rank. The Weekly Tasks are as follows:
- Catch 75 Pokémon - 200 PTS
- Win a raid - 150 PTS
- Make 20 Great Throws - 150 PTS
- Hatch 3 Eggs - 150 PTS
- Spin 25 PokéStops or Gyms - 100 PTS
- Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokémon - 100 PTS
- Earn 10 hearts with your buddy - 150 PTS
There is also a daily task:

Trainers can earn up to 250 extra points daily by completing certain tasks.
