Features

Featured Attack

Evolve Bisharp during the event or up to four hours afterwards to get a Kingambit that knows the Charged Attack Kowtow Cleave.

Kowtow Cleave (Dark-type)

• Trainer Battles: 75 power
• Gyms and raids: 85 power

Limited-time Evolution Requirement

From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, evolve Bisharp into Kingambit after defeating 1 Dark- or Steel-type Raid Boss with Bisharp as your Buddy Pokémon.

This bonus only applies to the Bisharp that is your Buddy Pokémon. The usual evolution requirements return on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. local time.

Correction (October 28, 2026): This page previously stated that the evolution bonus applied to all of your Bisharp, regardless of whether they were your Buddy Pokémon. That was incorrect; Bisharp must be your Buddy Pokémon for the bonus to apply.

Photobomb

Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise! During the event, you can snap an AR Photo and get photobombed by Pawniard.

Lure Module Bonus

From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Pawniard will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules.

Pawniard attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be Shiny and may have a Special Background. That’s more chances to encounter the featured Pokémon even after the event hours!

Spawns

Pawniard will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one or one that has a Special Background!
