Post Community Day Event: Golden PokéStops and a New Pokémon

After Community Day Classic ends, Golden PokéStops will appear on the map and a mysterious new Pokémon will begin to follow you. Spinning a Golden PokéStop gives a greater amount of items and/or a mysterious Coin.

This unnamed Pokémon is from the Paldea region, the new region in the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games on the Switch. When you first spin a golden PokéStop, there is a short dialogue with Jacq, a biology teacher at an academy in the Paldea region.

You cannot catch the new Pokémon.
