The mega conclusion to Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos!
It’s time for a finale of mega proportions! After kicking off the adventures during the real-world Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos events in Tainan and Los Angeles, it’s time for Trainers around the world to band together. Through intense battles, exciting encounters, and breakthrough discoveries, can you uncover exciting new ways to understand and master Mega Evolution?
Trainers who attend the Tainan and Los Angeles events can also purchase the global event ticket and receive a different Special Research to complete during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global.
Branching Special Research: X Version or Y Version
Ticket-holding Trainers can choose between two Special Research paths: X Version or Y Version. Right at the start, you’ll be asked which version you want. Complete the An X-ceptional Yarn Special Research to receive an encounter with either Xerneas (X Version) or Yveltal (Y Version), each with a Special Background inspired by their respective games. The path you choose also determines which Unown (X or Y) you’ll encounter from Field Research tasks. This Special Research will be available beginning on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Select this option to receive the X Version medal and Xerneas-themed rewards and bonuses during your GO Tour: Kalos adventure. During GO Tour: Kalos – Global, you will be able to get Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Unown X.

Select this option to receive the Y Version medal and Yveltal-themed rewards and bonuses during your GO Tour: Kalos adventure. During GO Tour: Kalos – Global, you will be able to get Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Unown Y.
