Experience an exclusive in-person Pokémon GO event in Tainan! Inspired by a place where dreams and adventures begin, Pokémon GO Tour is bringing the Kalos region to life in Tainan. Embark on a journey of beauty and bonds as you collect Pokémon, discover legendary stories, and experience the community of Pokémon GO in-person.
All event gameplay is exclusive to ticket holders. You will only be able to experience the event gameplay within Tainan Metropolitan Park during the date and time noted on your event ticket.

Citywide Gameplay Add-Ons
Extend the GO Tour fun and enjoy a city experience throughout Tainan on the extra event day—or days—of your choice! This add-on provides an additional day of the citywide gameplay experience that is available on your primary event day, with a few restrictions.
These add-ons only enable additional citywide gameplay. The Tainan Metropolitan Park event experience is only available on your primary event day at the time indicated on your ticket.
Trainers will have access to the event’s wild Pokémon encounters, Incense encounters, and Eggs, plus access to event Field Research, Timed Research, and special bonuses.
Restrictions for the Citywide Gameplay add-ons apply. Trainers will only receive the ticketed event Special Research, Timed Research, and Masterwork Research once.
Mega Night
For the first time ever, a new nighttime event experience at Pokémon GO Tour is available as an add-on to your main event ticket. Mega Night is a ticketed evening event taking place after the main daytime Pokémon GO Tour event. Look forward to unique gameplay, special entertainment, and more during this “after hours” extravaganza!

What’s New
Shiny Diancie makes its Pokémon GO debut!
For the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to encounter Shiny Diancie! Trainers attending the in-person event in Tainan can gear up for Masterwork Research that will lead to an encounter with Shiny Diancie—and it’s all included in your event ticket!
This Masterwork Research will also be available as a part of the event ticket for Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global. Trainers who attend the Tainan event and purchase a global event ticket will only be able to complete this Masterwork Research once, and they will receive additional event-themed rewards instead.
* Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!
Looking Good, Pikachu!
Trainers who attend Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan will be able to encounter some stylish Pikachu wearing Calem’s hat or Serena’s hat. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Shiny Pokémon Debuts
Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan attendees will be able to encounter Shiny Honedge, Shiny Hawlucha, and Shiny Klefki for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky!
- Honedge will appear in one-star raids during the event
- Klefki and Hawlucha will hatch from 10 km Eggs during the event
- Increased chance of hatching Shiny Klefki and Shiny Hawlucha!

Event-themed Pokémon will appear in three unique habitats during the event. When you purchase your ticket, you’ll select which habitat you’d like to start your day in. You’ll be able to visit all three habitats during your event day! A map of the venue, including the habitat locations, will be available closer to the event.
Outside of Tainan Metropolitan Park, Trainers playing throughout Tainan during their ticketed event hours (including Trainers with a Citywide Gameplay add-on) can encounter wild Pokémon from all habitats, with the exception of White Flower Flabébé, Orange Flower Flabébé, and Natural Form Furfrou.

Special Research
Ticket-holding Trainers in Tainan can take part in an exclusive Special Research story, which they can claim during their ticketed session at Tainan Metropolitan Park! Stay tuned for more details.
Trainers who attend the Tainan event can also purchase the global event ticket and receive different Special Research to complete during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global.
Furfrou Timed Research
A new Timed Research experience will be available to ticket-holding Trainers, awarding encounters with Furfrou, the Poodle Pokémon!
To progress in this research, you’ll need to spin special PokéStops themed after Furfrou’s various trims, scattered throughout Tainan Metropolitan Park. Plus, when you’re near one of these PokéStops, you’ll be able to change Furfrou into the corresponding trim! Normally, Furfrou can only change its trim in certain areas around the world, or during special events.

How to change Furfrou’s trim:
- Find Furfrou in your Pokémon storage, tap it to check its summary, and then tap the Change Form button to bring up a menu that lists the available trims.
- Select your preferred trim.
- Changing your Furfrou from one trim to any other trim will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
Note: Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with these Timed Research opportunities must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before 5:00 p.m. local time on your ticketed event day at the venue. Trainers will only be allowed access to Tainan Metropolitan Park to complete these Timed Research opportunities on their ticketed event day.
