The following bonuses are active from Monday, July 6, through Sunday, July 12, 2026.
The trade bonus for extra Candy XL was removed. The bonus is available from the GO Pass in July.

The following bonus is active from Monday, July 6, at 12:01 a.m. to Friday, July 10, at 11:59 p.m. local time.
Features 
New Pokémon Backgrounds Debut!
After catching certain Pokémon from Raid Battles during the Road of Legends and through Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global, Trainers will have a chance to receive Special Backgrounds! These souvenir backgrounds will appear on a Pokémon’s summary page, similar to the Location Backgrounds that are available exclusively at in-person events.
Pokémon caught from five-star raids, Primal Raids, and Mega Raid Battles between July 6 and July 12 may also have a Special Background.
Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids during GO Fest: Global may have a Special Background. If that Mewtwo with a Special Background is Mega Evolved, its Mega Evolution’s background will have an additional visual effect.
Super Mega Raids During Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global
Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will be featured in Super Mega Raids during Pokémon GO Fest: Global!
Every Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids will have at least one Mega Level already unlocked, and it can be Mega Evolved without the initial energy cost! Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids will also be more likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP.
GO Pass 
From Monday, July 6, at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday, July 12, at 11:59 p.m. local time, the GO Pass and the GO Pass Deluxe for Road of Legends will be available in Pokémon GO!
Complete Pass Tasks to rank up your GO Pass: Road of Legends to earn the following rewards:

Trainers who upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe can also earn the following additional rewards:

Every rank rewards the free GO Pass track, while the GO Pass Deluxe adds the premium reward shown on each rank.

Earn a Lucky Trinket at rank 100! Trainers who upgrade to the Deluxe pass can encounter Mewtwo with a Special Background at rank 90 and a Gold Bottle Cap at rank 100.

Legendary Pokémon, Ultra Beasts, and other powerful Pokémon will appear in raids throughout the event. Pokémon appearing in five-star raids each day will also be featured in a Raid Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on that day. On Monday, Raid Hour will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Pokémon appearing in Mega Raids each day will also be featured in a Mega Raid Hour from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time on that day. On Friday, there will be a Primal Raid Hour from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
