Shadow Zapdos in Shadow Raids

Shadow Zapdos will return to Pokémon GO in Shadow Raids. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Shadow Zapdos—if you’re lucky!

Shadow Zapdos will appear in five-star Shadow Raids every Saturday and Sunday in September:

  • September 2-3
  • September 9-10
  • September 16-17
  • September 23-24
  • September 31
  • October 1*

* It’s not clear if Shadow Moltres will take over on Sunday after Shadow Zapdos on Saturday.
