Mega-Evolved Pokémon Debut
The following Pokémon will make its Pokémon GO debut in Super Mega Raids!
New Mega Level: Super Max
Mega Staraptor’s Mega Level can be increased all the way to Super Max Level for the first time in Pokémon GO! Learn more about the new Mega Level here.
Pokémon that are eligible to unlock Super Max Level can learn an additional Charged Attack while they are Mega Evolved. Learn more about additional Charged Attacks here.
Staraptor can use the additional Charged Attack Brave Bird+ while it is Mega Evolved.
- Trainer Battles: 70 power and decreases the user’s Defense by three stages
- Raid Battles: 150 power
The power of this attack will increase with Staraptor’s Mega Level.
You must increase a Pokémon’s Mega Level to Max before you can increase it to Super Max. Participating in Mega Raids awards the Mega Energy needed to power up eligible Pokémon beyond what Mega Evolving alone can provide.
Where can I find Super Mega Raids?
Super Mega Raids will take great teamwork and may only appear at certain Gyms.
Visit the Pokémon GO Map to see where Super Mega Raids might appear during an event, as well as those already in progress. You can also filter the map or check nearby Events to find community meetups and plan ahead.
If you’ve never attended a meetup before, Super Mega Raids are a great reason to go out and meet your local community of Trainers for the first time. Learn more and find your community.

Research 
Timed Research will be available to Trainers during the event. Complete the research tasks to earn a Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Gardevoir.
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before the Timed Research ends.
Shiny 
Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Staraptor from Super Mega Raids.
