Minior Cores
Minior has seven different core colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. A different core color will debut during each of the six meteor showers listed below. During the Geminids, one core color will debut in the Northern Hemisphere and another in the Southern Hemisphere.

From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time every day during each Minior Shower, shooting stars will light up the in-game sky. During these hours, you’ll have an increased chance of encountering Minior in the wild!
Minior’s Form Changes
Minior begins battles in its Meteor Form. When its health drops below 50%, it changes form and exposes its core.
- Meteor Form: Higher Defense and lower Attack.
- Core exposed: Higher Attack and lower Defense.
Initially, Minior will only be able to change forms when battling Team GO Rocket, team leaders, or in the GO Battle League.
Minior will not be eligible for the 2027 Latin America International Championships.
Annual Meteor Shower Schedule
Minior can appear during the following meteor showers each year. Each shower begins at 5:00 p.m. on its first day and ends at 11:59 p.m. on its last day, in local time.
- Orionids: October 19–24, 2026
- Leonids: November 14–19, 2026
- Geminids: December 11–16, 2026
- Eta Aquariids: May 3–8, 2027
- Southern Delta Aquariids: July 28–August 2, 2027
- Perseids: August 10–15, 2027
