The biggest Pokémon GO event of the year is almost here, and the adventure is going global! Join up with millions of other Trainers from around the world and get ready for Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global!
Over 70 Pokémon will appear during the event, plus special costumed Pokémon, bonuses, and more.
Trainers can participate in this global event at no cost from anywhere in the world! You can also upgrade your experience with an event ticket, available now via the in-game shop or the Pokémon GO Web Store. Trainers with an event ticket will receive special bonuses and rewards, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow!
Trainers who purchase their ticket from the Pokémon GO Web Store will receive an exclusive GO Fest 2024 shirt avatar item color. Like the GO Fest event badge, the shirt will arrive closer to the Pokémon GO Fest event.

Special Backgrounds during Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global
On Sunday, July 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, all Trainers will have a chance of receiving Special Backgrounds from Necrozma in five-star raids after making a successful catch! Ticket-holding Trainers will also encounter a Solgaleo or Lunala with a Special Background as a part of their ticketed Special Research. When fused with Necrozma with a Special Background, the resulting Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma will have its own variant of the background!

Ticket holders can get up to 5 photobomb encounters per day.

Fusion Energy
Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will make their worldwide Pokémon GO debuts during Day 2 of Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global in raids.
Trainers will have the opportunity to catch Necrozma in its regular form after defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma in raids.
In addition to encountering Necrozma and receiving the typical raid rewards, Trainers will obtain Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy from Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma raids respectively. Trainers will also receive 10 Cosmog Candy upon successfully completing one of these raids.
Unlike Mega Energy, the amount of Fusion Energy earned in a raid is not directly linked to completion speed. Instead, it appears to be tied to the number of Premier Balls/Beast Balls earned, similar to item rewards. In other words, the amount earned is random and you get more chances when you get more item bundles.
Factors like faster completion times, friendship levels, and gym control can increase your chances of earning more Premier Balls and item bundles, indirectly leading to higher Fusion Energy rewards.
Each Trainer in the raid will have individual rewards like how each Trainer will recieve a different amount of reward items in a raid. Fusion Energy received varies between trainers even within the same raid, with reported rewards ranging from 80 to 170 Fusion Energy per raid win.

Event-exclusive Special Research
Trainers with an active Pokémon GO Fest 2024 ticket will be able to participate in Special Research that will grant enough Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy to fuse Necrozma once depending on their branching quest choice.
You will choose between two paths:
