Welcome to Pokémon GO: Forever Forward!
In Pokémon GO, Seasons are periods of time that feature new events, Pokémon debuts, and surprises that all follow a certain theme. As the Seasons change, you may find different Pokémon appearing in your area and hatching from Eggs. Make sure to explore during each in-game Season to collect and train as many different Pokémon as you can! You’ll also enjoy special bonuses as you do.

Mega Mewtwo Debuts
Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y, the Mega Evolutions of the Genetic Pokémon Mewtwo, will make their Pokémon GO debuts during Pokémon GO Fest 2026!

Mega-Evolved Pokémon Debuts
Keep an eye out for more Mega-Evolved Pokémon debuts in Mega Raid Days during Forever Forward!
Max Pokémon Debuts
Dynamax Electabuzz, Dynamax Magikarp, Dynamax Feebas, and more will make their way into Max Battles throughout the Season. Keep an eye out for new Dynamax Pokémon at Power Spots!
Daily Discoveries
Continuing in Forever Forward, different days of the week will include a Daily Discovery experience. These will be active between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. local time unless otherwise stated. The following will change for Forever Forward. Daily Discoveries may change as we experiment with how to make the best experience.
Please note: Daily Discoveries will not be available during the week of global GO Fest, GO Wild Area, and GO Tour events.
- More Pokémon will appear while following a Route. Incense will attract even more Pokémon on Routes.
- Reduced distance to earn Buddy Candy while exploring Routes with your Buddy Pokémon.
- Encounter Mateo up to three times each day while on a Route.
- Power Spots will refresh more frequently.
- Additional Power Spots will be active on Mondays compared to the rest of the week.
- Max Battles will rotate to feature different Dynamax Pokémon.
- Trainers can enter up to five PokéStop Showcases.
- Raid Bosses for five-star raids and Mega Raids will rotate at the start of the day each week.
- Raid Hours will continue to feature the five-star Raid Boss between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time.
- Up to 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will increase from five to 10—for a total of 50 battles.
- Up to two Special Trades on Friday.
- Increased chance of Lucky Trade for any trade.
- Up to -10% Stardust cost for trades.
- Two guaranteed Candy XL from trades (Trainers level 31+).

GO Pass
GO Pass, a limited-time progression track, will be available during Forever Forward! Complete Pass Tasks to earn GO Points to increase your rank and earn rewards.
The GO Pass Deluxe, a paid version of the GO Pass, will be available for Trainers looking for upgraded rewards and faster progression.
GO Battle League
The GO Battle League returns as part of Forever Forward! Get your Pokémon ready to battle in competitions such as the North American International Championships 2026 Cup, Fantasy Cup, Sunshine Cup, and more!
