New Ongoing Pokémon GO Stamp Rallies in Sendai • Tohoku and Mexico City
New ongoing Pokémon GO Stamp Rallies are available to all Trainers visiting Sendai • Tohoku, Japan, and Mexico City, Mexico, beginning November 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PST.
These rallies are separate from the event Stamp Rallies during Pokémon GO Wild Area. They have no planned end date, so you can participate even if you aren’t attending GO Wild Area. Visit the participating PokéStops in any order to collect your stamps.
Lapras and Hawlucha with Location Backgrounds
Collect all eight stamps in a city’s rally to earn its featured Pokémon encounter:
- Sendai – Lapras Stamp Rally: Lapras with a Sendai • Tohoku Location Background.
- Mexico City – Hawlucha Stamp Rally: Hawlucha with a Mexico City Location Background.
If you’re lucky, either encounter may be Shiny!
How to Complete a Stamp Rally
Start Your Stamp Sheet
Enter the citywide gameplay area in Sendai • Tohoku or Mexico City, then approach a participating PokéStop to receive a stamp sheet. A Stamp Rally button will appear on the map. You can use the dedicated map to find the rally’s highlighted PokéStops.
Visit PokéStops and Collect Stamps
Participating PokéStops will have an orange stamp icon above them once you’ve started the rally. Spin their Photo Discs to add stamps to your sheet.
Each stamp records the PokéStop’s name and the date. Holding down longer when stamping changes the ink density, and a stamp cannot be pressed again once it has been placed.
Claim Your Encounter
Finish the sheet by collecting all eight stamps, then claim your Lapras or Hawlucha encounter with its city’s Location Background.
